The public archive is not yet accepting submissions. This page introduces the planned service while the Institute develops the technical, editorial, legal, preservation, and research-security framework.
The Vision
A permanent public record of work in progress and work completed.
The future JR Research Archive is intended to give researchers a stable place to share findings early, preserve revisions, connect supporting materials, and make research easier to discover.
It will be designed as a modern institutional repository inspired by the openness and permanence that have made preprint archives valuable to science.

Publishing Principles
Open by default, responsible by design.
- Clear publication status. Every record should state whether it is a preprint, technical report, reviewed work, dataset, or final publication.
- Visible version history. Revisions should add to the scholarly record rather than silently replacing it.
- Author accountability. Authorship, affiliation, contribution, and conflicts should be represented accurately.
- Research-security review. Sensitive, restricted, private, patentable, export-controlled, or high-risk material should be reviewed before release.
- Permanent correction. Withdrawals, corrections, and notices should remain visible so the history of the record is not erased.
Coming Later
The repository will be introduced after the supporting systems are ready.
The Institute will first establish submission standards, moderation, rights management, preservation, metadata, research-security review, and technical operations.
The JR Research Archive is an independent planned repository. It is not affiliated with or operated by arXiv.
